A series of seven public stakeholder meetings was recently held throughout the United States to gather public comments. Submit your comment by July 1.

Help strengthen the U.S. electricity system by submitting your comments to the Quadrennial Energy Review (QER) – An Integrated Study of the Electricity System at https://epsa.energy.gov/qer-comments/. Comments are due July 1, 2016.

The QER is an assessment of the changing energy landscape in the United States. President Obama issued a Presidential Memorandum establishing the QER in January 2014. The goal of the QER, carried out in a series of four installments, is to enable the Federal Government to translate policy goals into analysis-based, integrative actions.

President Obama directed the QER Task Force to gather ideas and advice from State and local governments, tribes, large and small businesses, universities, national laboratories, nongovernmental and labor organizations, consumers, and other stakeholders and interested parties.

The QER Task Force is now asking for input from all energy stakeholders—from producers to consumers—as you are key contributors to the QER process. Your input will be instrumental in shaping federal actions and policies that will ultimately benefit and fortify the U.S. electricity system. Input can be submitted through the comments form available on the QER website, https://epsa.energy.gov/qer-comments/ .
