CHEMICAL SAFETY TOPICAL COMMITTEE (CSTC)

The Department of Energy (DOE) Chemical Safety Topical Committee is a volunteer organization co-sponsored by the DOE Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy and the ESH Workgroup of the Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) to provide a forum for DOE and DOE contractor personnel to identify chemical safety-related issues of concern to the DOE and pursue solutions to issues identified.

The CSTC promotes excellence in all aspects of chemical management through the exchange of lessons learned, best management practices, industry benchmarks, and technical advances and the sharing of ideas and tools that promote continuous improvement and excellence in chemical management.

Networking opportunities are available through participation at the annual Joint DOE/EFCOG Chemical Management Workshop.
