The Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) held its fourth installment of the semiannual stakeholder webinar led by Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Renewable Power and WPTO Director Alejandro Moreno. Moreno was joined by Acting Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Kelly Speakes-Backman and WPTO program representatives.

Program representatives and technical leads from across WPTO discussed some of the most pressing changes affecting water power R&D in 2021, provided updates on the administration transition, highlighted recent announcements and publications, shared project updates, and discussed upcoming priorities. This webinar is one of WPTO’s many efforts to improve transparency and engagement with stakeholders in the hydropower and marine energy industries.
