In September 2009, DOE launched the development of a standardized training curricula for the Weatherization Network to use and adapt to meet its specific regional or local training needs with the expansion of WAP’s network during the Recovery Act timeframe. DOE WAP has discontinued updating these resources; however, welcomes their continued use so long as current Standard Work Specifications are followed.
 

The lesson plans and PowerPoint presentations in this curriculum are provided in two formats – in their original Word and PowerPoint formats and again as PDF files. The Word and PowerPoint formats give those who use the curriculum the ability to edit the lesson plans and presentations (text, activities, photos, etc.), while also allowing trainers to incorporate those items into other training materials and curriculum.
