DOE announced the winners of the 2019 Student Poster Competition at the 16th annual DOE SSL R&D Workshop, held January 29-31 in Dallas, Texas. The heart of these workshops is a poster session, where project investigators from all DOE-funded R&D projects share updates on their work.

Now in its fourth year, the student poster competition attracted submissions from graduate students across the country. Submissions were judged based on quality of research, novelty, and innovation; impact on the field of SSL; and presentation quality and clarity.
