Alabama Building Operator Certification Program
The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA)—Energy Division is excited to bring the Building Operator Certification (BOC) program to Alabama an eight-day training and certification program for building operators. Participants learn how to operate buildings more efficiently while improving comfort and safety. BOC participants consistently save money and energy in their facilities--up to $20,000 a year--thanks to energy conservation projects, air quality improvements, and other initiatives. Core BOC classes support the building operator skill standard by devoting significant content to the topics of HVAC systems and controls, lighting fundamentals, measuring and benchmarking energy performance, common opportunities for operational improvements, and facility electrical systems.
Alaska Craftsman Home Program
This program offers workshops that teach the building science concepts needed to build energy-efficient homes, specifically for northern regions.
Building Performance Institute Inc.
The institute offers certification, through its affiliates, on the fundamentals of home performance evaluation and whole-home retrofit planning and execution.
California Wind Energy Collaborative

Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program
The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) provides training and certification to professionals installing electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) for charging infrastructure in the residential and commercial markets. Training is availble around the United States and is open to licensed electricians in compliance with requirements of state or municipal jurisdictions.
Energy and Environmental Building Alliance
This organization provides training and resources for builders, remodelers, developers, architects, designers, and manufacturers to assist them in designing and building energy-efficient and environmentally responsible buildings and communities.
Energy Providers Coalition for Education (EPCE)
EPCE develops, sponsors, and promotes industry-driven, standardized, quality online education programs built by the energy industry, for the industry. EPCE works with qualified, accredited education providers to offer programs ranging from Certificates and Associates to Bachelors and Masters degrees for the energy industry. EPCE also offers specialized training courses specific to renewable energy and the Smart Grid.
Everblue: Sustainable Workforce Training
Everblue provides continuing education in sustainability and business efficiency, specializing in short term exam prep and courses in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building. Since 2009, Everblue has helped over 14,000 students gain the knowledge necessary to achieve an environmental certification and advance within their career. Everblue provides training for individuals seeking a LEED Accreditation or certification from BPI, RESNET, NABCEP, or NATE.
Federal Energy Management Program Training
The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) supplies federal agencies with the information, tools, and assistance they need to help meet and track their energy and water reduction requirements and goals for 350,000 buildings and 600,000 vehicles operated by the federal government, the nation’s largest energy consumer. FEMP provides training to the greater federal energy management community through three delivery platforms: in-person workshops, free on-demand training products, and live webinars. Additionally, FEMP facilitates the annual 2.5-day Energy Exchange training event and two Federal Utility Working Group (FUPWG) events.

NC Solar Center at NC State University: Renewable Energy Technologies and Green Building Workshops
The Solar Center conducts continuing education workshops on solar thermal, photovoltaics, wind, and residential and commercial green building. These workshops provide technical hands-on training as well as an understanding of the policies and financial tools necessary to be successful in the industry. An individual may register to take three week long workshops to receive a non-degree diploma from NC State University on renewable energy technologies or green building.

This association provides professional development opportunities for building professionals, teachers, and others interested in sustainable energy use.
Performance Systems Development
Performance Systems Development offers courses designed to provide students with the knowledgebase and skills needed to succeed in the building performance and energy efficiency industry. Courses range from BPI and RESNET certification, TREAT energy audit software training for both single-family and multifamily versions, and CMVP training for energy engineers.

Rising Sun Energy Center
Rising Sun Energy Center is a community-based non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve environmental and economic sustainability for themselves and their communities. Our California Youth Energy Services program trains and employs youth and young adults to educate the community about energy efficiency by providing free energy assessments and installation of efficiency measures. Green Energy Training Services (GETS) is a job training program prepares adults for careers in residential building performance. Rising Sun Energy Services is our social enterprise, which employs graduates of the GETS program to provide whole home energy audits and retrofits.

The School for Energy Efficiency is a state (CT) of the art Building Performance Institute (BPI) training facility specializing in the Home Performance Contracting industry's required certifications.
