Description: This webinar will examine the relationship of building energy codes to zoning and land-use regulation. Zoning and land-use processes have, at times, incentivized environmentally sensitive design and construction. Yet, also, safety, aesthetic, and other concerns have impeded approval and installation of such measures as PVs and batteries. This webinar will explore ways that zoning and land-use regulation, in complement to codes, can be crafted to advance energy efficiency, clean energy, and climate objectives.
