As cities and counties nationwide are collecting data from building benchmarking, there are now deeper insights of local building stock performance, and growing interest in sharing the information with building owners and others in the community to motivate greater investments in building improvements and energy-efficient practices. In this webinar we will hear from researchers and practitioners from New York City, Washington, D.C., and the Greenlink Group to learn about the quantifiable potential benefits of a citywide benchmarking program, the methods that city staff are using the assess the actual impacts of these policies, and some examples of how the data is being used to inform decision-making and drive change.
