On DATE - TBD, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office and the National Science Foundation will sponsor a workshop in Arlington, VA titled, “Understanding the Rules of Life: Complexity in Algal Systems.”  This event will bring together leaders from both basic and applied research backgrounds across academia, industry, and National Laboratories to outline the challenges in understanding algal biology and ecology and to discuss research strategies on algae engineering and cultivation efforts.

Once capacity for the workshop is reached, all additional registrants will be added to a workshop wait list.
