HPC4EI leadership will present a live informational webinar for the initiative’s fall 2019 solicitation announcement.

The presentation will include an overview of the solicitation application process, topics of interest, and introduce a new proposal system. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions about the proposal process.

For this solicitation, HPC4EI is seeking qualified industry partners to work collaboratively with DOE’s National Laboratories on projects that use high performance computing (HPC) to solve key technical challenges in the areas of manufacturing and mobility.

Since its inception in 2015, HPC4EI has funded 90 projects, with more than 40 companies represented in the $34 million portfolio. Under this program, competitively selected projects apply modeling, simulation, and data analysis to industrial processes and products to lower production costs and shorten the time to market. The aim is to advance future technology investments by optimizing designs, predicting performance, and reducing the number of testing cycles during development.
