Dr. Rachuri is an international expert in Smart Manufacturing and comes to AMO from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where he was an industrial engineer with the Life Cycle Engineering Group in the systems integration division. His primary objectives were to develop and transfer knowledge to industry about information models for sustainable manufacturing, green products, assembly representation, system level analysis, and tolerance representation. Prior to that, Dr. Rachuri was a research professor at The George Washington University, and has also spent time volunteering with Adventure in Science, a Saturday program that brings together students and scientists to discuss a variety of topics in science and stimulate an interest in the next generation of scientists. He is also a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

We look forward to seeing the continued progress AMO can make with Dr. Rachuri as a dedicated member of our team.
