Review of Work Planning and Control and Biological Safety at the Los Alamos National Laboratory

The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Enterprise Assessments conducted a targeted review of activity-level work planning and control at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).  The onsite portions of this review were conducted from June 15 to 18 and July 13 to16, 2015.  LANL’s primary missions are to develop and apply science and technology to ensure the safety, security, and reliability of the U.S. nuclear deterrent; reduce global threats; and solve other emerging national security challenges.  LANL is managed and operated by Los Alamos National Security, LLC with oversight by the Los Alamos Field Office.
