Assessment of Occupational Injury and Illness Recordkeeping and Reporting at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Worker Safety and Health Assessments, within the independent Office of Enterprise Assessments, conducted an assessment of occupational injury and illness reporting and recording by Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and DOE oversight of the program by the National Nuclear Security Administration Livermore Field Office. The assessment included an onsite data collection visit on February 5-9, 2018. The objective of this assessment was to ensure the quality and accuracy of safety performance metric data available to DOE and DOE contractor management for feedback and improvement analysis and decision-making purposes.
