Enforcement Congressional Report

On April 15, the Secretary signed out the Fiscal Year 2018 Enforcement Activities Overview Report to Congress.  The purpose of this report is to provide information regarding DOE enforcement outcomes issued in fiscal year (FY) 2018 to the congressional defense and appropriations committees and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate, as required by the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2019.  The information includes whether any penalties were imposed, a description of such penalties, and the entities against which the penalties were imposed.  This report contains the legislative language requiring the report, a summary of the DOE enforcement program, administered by the Office of Enterprise Assessments, a description of enforcement outcomes issued in FY 2018, and a list of the enforcement outcome documents available on the energy.gov website.
