On April 1, 2019, the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (NEA-2019-01) to CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company related to the spread of radiological contamination outside of the established radiological boundary of the Plutonium Finishing Plant at the Hanford site.
