Notice of Intent to Investigate, Fermi Research Alliance, LLC

On February 6, 2023, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement notified Fermi Research Alliance, LLC, of its intent to investigate potential noncompliances with DOE nuclear safety program requirements (10 C.F.R. Part 835) related to an unplanned radiation exposure to a worker during the month of May 2022 in the Proton Source Test Area of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
