Case Definitions:

Confirmed: An individual who has received a positive COVID-19 viral test (PCR analysis) or who was symptomatic and subsequently received a positive antibody test.

Active Confirmed: Cases where an individual has tested positive for COVID-19 and the case has not been closed. A case is closed (i.e. moved to “recovered”) if an individual reports that they meet the CDC definition for ending isolation. A case may remain open/active if an individual still has significant symptoms or hasn’t been reached for follow-up.

Total Recovered: An individual who was confirmed and has discontinued isolation; based on CDC criteria.

Total Confirmed: The number of cases with individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. This number includes all active confirmed cases, all cases where the individual has recovered, and all deaths of individuals who had tested positive for COVID-19.
