Deshawn Keith Bowser has been with the U.S. Department of Energy since October 2020, he is the Digital Communication Specialist in the Office of Public Affairs highlighting and elevating the company’s mission through the creation of digital content including podcast, videos, social media, blog post, press releases, photography, and other website products.
Bowser is also a HBCU honors graduate with a degree in mass communications. Mr. Bowser established the first articles and cover for Edge Magazine, the Military Time’s publication. He also performed sufficiently for Essence Magazine, Café Mocha Radio, and more. Bowser has utilized broadcasting, media, and communication skills as an on-air radio personality for several broadcasting stations that required extraordinary and creative people skills.
Prior to the U.S. Department of Energy, he worked for the Census Bureau, National Rifle Association, and the Pentagon, building partnerships with national and community outreach campaigns.
He honorably served and completed several military deployments, including a dangerous deployment in Ramadi, Iraq. Today he is a proud United States Army Veteran after receiving multiple military awards. Mr. Bowser finds it almost impossible to complain about anything, he is happy to be home and would love to continue helping others.
