Cyber Fire Foundry 15 will take place November 18 to November 22, 2019 in San Diego, California
Cyber Fire is a suite of cyber security training events for beginner to expert analysts. Founded in 2009, Cyber Fire has grown to a joint offering from multiple DOE laboratories, boasting hundreds of attendees per year. Cyber Fire events are led by expert security investigators from United States Department of Energy National Laboratories.
Cyber Fire Foundry is a weeklong event featuring 2 days of classes, 2 days of hands on exercise, and a final day of briefings. Details on the agenda and class descriptions can be found on the CyberFire website.
In conjunction with our semi-annual DOE Cyber Fire training, we will also host The Industrial Control Systems (ICS) International Hackathon, bringing together experts from across DOE, along with interagency, academic, private sector, and international partners, to conduct crowdsourced penetration testing on select ICS infrastructure. The multi-day event is focused on Raising Awareness of ICS Challenges in Today’s Threat Environment. Delegations of government and private sector representatives from the United States, Israel, Germany, Canada, and the United Kingdom have been invited to participate in this event.
NOTE: The Hackathon is invite only and will be limited to 50 individual participants.
