WASHINGTON - On Tuesday, September 24, 2013, U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz will kick-off the Minorities in Energy Initiative at the Department of Energy’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration with  remarks that will be livestreamed on

The Minorities in Energy Initiative will be a continuous dialogue between academia, industry, community organizations, and business with Energy at the helm. Panels will address energy economic development, STEM education, and climate change challenges and opportunities for minorities.
