Over the years, Alabama has dedicated the Energy Department’s (DOE’s) State Energy Program (SEP) resources to support a number of energy efficiency projects, such as establishing a voluntary statewide home energy scoring system for residential properties and developing strategies that support the productivity and competitiveness of the state’s industrial sector.
