Under Secretary of Energy Albright to Address SRS Community Leaders
 
WASHINGTON, DC - On Monday, January 21, 2008, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Under Secretary Clarence “Bud” Albright, Jr. will deliver remarks to community leaders in downtown Aiken regarding DOE’s Payment-in-Lieu-of-Taxes (PILT) agreement with neighboring counties of DOE’s Savannah River Site (SRS).  Other officials expected to participate include U.S. Representative J. Gresham Barrett (R-SC) and DOE-Savannah River (SR) Manager Jeffrey M. Allison.  Local community leaders and elected officials will attend.  Media availability will follow the Community Leaders Reception at 12:00 PM EST.
