Senior DOE Official at ACORE’s Policy Conference to Discuss the Administration’s Strategy to Commercialize Clean Energy Technologies
 
WASHINGTON, DC – Tomorrow, Thursday, November 29, 2007, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Alexander Karsner will address the American Council on Renewable Energy’s (ACORE) Phase II Policy Conference in Washington, DC.  Assistant Secretary Karsner is expected to discuss the Administration’s strategy to commercialize clean energy technologies, as well as the President’s Twenty in Ten Plan.  Twenty in Ten aims to reduce U.S. gasoline consumption by 20 percent in ten years through diversification of clean energy sources and increased vehicle efficiency.
