Senior Energy Department Official in Silicon Valley to Highlight Commercialization Potential for Advanced Clean Energy Technologies

REDWOOD CITY, CA – Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 23, 2007, U.S. Department of Energy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Alexander Karsner will address the Alternative Energy Innovations Conference where he is expected to discuss the Bush Administration’s efforts to accelerate commercial adoption of advanced clean energy technologies.  Assistant Secretary Karsner will highlight the importance of public-private partnerships in promoting greater energy efficiency and encouraging the broader use of clean energy to power homes, businesses and vehicles.
