Secretary of Energy to Host Media Availability at Solar Facility
 
WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, February 13, 2007, U.S. Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman will deliver remarks at the First Solar facility in Perrysburg, Ohio to highlight President Bush’s energy initiatives.  Secretary Bodman is expected to discuss the President’s Solar America Initiative, which aims to make solar technology cost-competitive with renewable electricity within the next decade.

NOTE:  Media should confirm attendance to Charlott Crivelli no later than 7PM February 12, 2007.  Media should plan to arrive at the event site no later than 9:45AM to allow time for check in.  Media should proceed to the South Building for check in.
