The Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE) has released the second issue of the Energy Emergency Preparedness Quarterly (EEPQ), designed to briefly highlight a few of the energy preparedness activities that occur each quarter.

The second issue of the EEPQ includes news items on OE’s energy infrastructure monitoring capability, named EAGLE-I, to enhance situational awareness of potential disruptions by allowing DOE to monitor across multiple energy sectors; the 2011 Innovation Award received by ESF-12 for its responder training program; DOE's partnership with DOD to host a preparedness and response workshop; and DOE's pilot program with HHS to install and test a system to monitor the status of power at critical government health facilities.‬

All issues of the EEPQ are available for download from the Emergency Preparedness page.
