Energy Secretary Steven Chu to Speak at Two International Energy Forums
Chu will speak at Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum in London and International Energy Agency Governing Board Meeting in Paris

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Next week Energy Secretary Steven Chu will travel to London and Paris to take part in two major international energy conferences. Secretary Chu will highlight the Obama Administration's efforts to pursue a clean energy economy, advance carbon sequestration technologies and address the threat of climate change.

On Monday, October 12 in London, Secretary Chu will address the Carbon Sequestration Leadership Stakeholder Forum.

On Tuesday, October 13 in London, Secretary Chu will participate in the Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum in London, where he will deliver the opening address and co-chair the Ministers-only discussion session.

On Wednesday, October 14 in Paris, Secretary Chu will attend the International Energy Agency Governing Board Meeting. He will deliver remarks during the working lunch for Heads of Delegations.
