Acting Deputy Secretary of Energy to Deliver Remarks and Make Carbon Sequestration Project Award Announcement at International Greenhouse Gas Technologies Conference

WASHINGTON – On Monday, November 17, Acting Deputy Secretary of Energy Jeffrey Kupfer will deliver opening remarks at the 9th International Conference on Greenhouse Gas Technologies (GHGT) in Washington, DC. During his remarks, Kupfer is expected to make an announcement regarding a major carbon sequestration project award.

The GHGT conference, held every two years in International Energy Agency (IEA) Greenhouse Gas member countries, is considered the principal international conference on greenhouse gas mitigation technologies.
