Senior DOE Official to Deliver Remarks at Annual GridWeek Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C.  – On Thursday, September 25, 2008, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability Kevin Kolevar will deliver remarks at the GridWeek 2008 conference in Washington, DC.  Assistant Secretary Kolevar is expected to highlight DOE’s implementation of the smart grid provisions under the Energy Independence and Security Act, signed into law by President Bush on December 19, 2007.
