U.S. Under Secretary of Energy to Announce Funding Opportunity for Restructured FutureGen Approach
WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, June 24, 2008, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Under Secretary Bud Albright will host a media conference call to discuss next steps on the Department’s plan to fund cutting-edge carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology on multiple commercial-scale Integrated Gasification Combined (IGCC) or clean coal plants as part of DOE’s restructured FutureGen approach.
