WASHINGTON - On Thursday, June 19, 2008, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Alexander (Andy) Karsner will deliver remarks at the Renewable Energy Finance Forum sponsored by the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE). Assistant Secretary Karsner is expected to highlight the Administration’s long-term strategy to increase our nation’s energy and economic security by researching, developing and deploying clean, cutting-edge technologies that will help diversify our nation’s energy sources and fundamentally change the way we power our vehicles.
The Renewable Energy Finance Forum (REFF)-Wall Street is the premier gathering for executives in the renewable energy and finance sectors to discuss pertinent issues impacting the investment and growth of the renewable energy market. Industry experts will lead over 600 attendees in a series of panel sessions at this two-day conference. Key topics to be discussed at this year’s event include trends in venture capital investment, increasing flow in a tight market, the biofuels and biodiesel markets, and how to evaluate risk exposure in the development of U.S. carbon finance markets.
