Senior DOE Official to Deliver Remarks at Western Governors' Association Renewable Energy Zones Initiative Launch

WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, May 28, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability Kevin Kolevar will deliver remarks at the launch of the Western Governors’ Association (WGA) Western Renewable Energy Zones (WREZ) project.  Assistant Secretary Kolevar is expected to highlight the importance of regional planning in addressing our nation’s generation and transmission challenges, as well as talk about the Department’s ongoing efforts to expedite the development and delivery of clean and renewable energy to electricity load centers.
