Senior DOE Official to Deliver Opening Remarks at Inaugural Meeting of Electricity Advisory Committee

WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, May 20th, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability Kevin Kolevar will deliver opening remarks at the inaugural meeting of the DOE Electricity Advisory Committee.  The Committee was chartered by Secretary Bodman in March, 2008 to provide counsel to the Department on long-range planning and priorities for the modernization of the Nation’s electricity delivery infrastructure.  The first meeting will serve as a forum to outline the Committee’s first-year agenda and objectives.
