Senior Department of Energy Officials to Highlight the Role of Clean Power in our Nation’s Energy Future
WASHINGTON, DC –U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Assistant Secretary for Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability Kevin M. Kolevar and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency David E. Rodgers this week will deliver keynote remarks at the National Governor's Association's (NGA) State Summit on Clean Power and Efficiency in Overland Park, Kansas.
Assistant Secretary Kolevar is expected to highlight the Bush Administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure a steady stream of reliable, affordable electricity from cleaner energy sources to meet our Nation’s future energy demands. Deputy Assistant Secretary Rodgers is expected to discuss DOE’s efforts to promote building and transportation energy efficient technologies and practices in industry operation to better harness the energy we waste everyday.
