Senior DOE Official in Pittsburgh to Highlight the Bush Administration’s Clean Coal Initiatives

WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, U.S. Acting Deputy Secretary of Energy Jeffrey F. Kupfer will deliver remarks at the 7th Annual Conference on Carbon Capture and Sequestration in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to highlight the Administration’s energy strategy for advancing clean coal technologies specifically carbon sequestration.  Coal is and will remain our nation’s most abundant energy resource and is a critical part of the energy mix powering over half of the homes and businesses in America.
