U.S. Secretary of Energy to Highlight Boston’s Solar Energy Programs at Fenway Park

WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, April 9, 2008, U.S. Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman will join Mayor Thomas M. Menino to deliver remarks at Fenway Park, ballpark of MLB’s Boston Red Sox.  Secretary Bodman will recognize the progress that the city of Boston and its partners have made in accelerating solar technology deployment and integration as one of DOE's Solar America Cities, and tout the Bush Administration’s initiatives to increase the use of clean, renewable energy.
