Management of Spent Nuclear Fuel from the K Basins at the Hanford Site, Richland, Washington
DOE issued a Final EIS that evaluates the potential environmental impacts associated with the management, storage and disposal of spent nuclear fuel, sludge, debris, and water from basins attached to the retired K East and K West Reactors. The Final EIS consists of two volumes: the Draft EIS as previously issued and an addendum containing copies of the comments on the Draft EIS, DOE's responses to the comments, and errata. Comments on the Draft EIS did not require DOE to modify any alternatives presented in the Draft EIS, evaluate any new alternatives, or supplement or modify any analyses.
