DOE Funding of the Construction and Operation of the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams; Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan

DOE announced its intent to prepare an EA (DOE/EA-1684) that analyzes the potential environmental impacts of funding a particle acceleration facility at the Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. The proposal included construction of additions to existing buildings on the University campus, ancillary laboratories, support facilities, and offices adjacent to the existing National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, which would be subsumed into the particle acceleration facility.
