Overview

The Office of Facilities Management manages programs to maintain and deliver nuclear research facilities and capabilities at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) that are required to help meet the nation’s strategic needs in energy and national security.  It is part of the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy (NE)

Program such as Idaho Facilities Management   operates, manages, maintains, and dispositions NE owned facilities and capabilities.  The  Idaho Site-Wide Safeguards and Security ensures the safety, operability, and security of these facilities.  Together, these two programs ensure the availability of the INL’s nuclear research facilities and capabilities to researchers from government, industry and academia.
