WASHINGTON - U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will travel to Ohio on Thursday and Friday to visit Cincinnati and Massillon. On Thursday, Secretary Chu will be joined by Congressman Steve Driehaus at the Cincinnati State Technical and Community College to learn about the school's workforce training efforts in renewable energy, energy audit, and sustainable building, and participate in a demonstration of a home energy audit.

With help from a Recovery Act-funded $1.1 million clean energy manufacturing tax credit, Applied Photovoltaics will manufacture solar energy modules for use in building-integrated photovoltaics.
