The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Indian Energy hosted the 10th in a series of planned strategic energy development forums for tribal leaders and interested staff on “Tribal Energy Systems: Climate Preparedness and Resiliency.” The forum provided an opportunity for attendees to interact with other Tribes, federal agencies, and industry to learn more about climate change and resiliency efforts. The forum covered topics such as tribal energy systems, models and best practices, clean and efficient climate-resilient energy developments, and climate-smart energy development practices and uses of green and natural infrastructure.
