DOE ordered Precision Trading Corp. to abide by the negotiated terms of the Compromise Agreement after finding Precision Trading had privately labeled and distributed in commerce in the U.S. multiple units of Precision Trading residential clothes washer individual model PWMA231PM, which does not meet the applicable energy and water conservation standards.  The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Precision Trading.

On December 4, 2014, DOE determined residential clothes washer individual model PWMA231PM was noncompliant based on DOE's testing.  Precision Trading was required to immediately notify each person (or company) to whom Precision Trading distributed the noncompliant products that the product does not meet Federal standards.  In addition, Precision Trading provided to DOE documents and records showing the number of units Precision Trading distributed and to whom.
