Cincinnati - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today awarded a task order to Safety and Ecology Corporation of Knoxville, Tennessee, for technical services at the West Valley Demonstration Project, West Valley, New York. The task order has a three-year performance period with a $1.3 million value.
The task order will be issued from the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) master contract, firm-fixed-price and time and materials. Under the task order, Safety and Ecology Corporation will perform technical services for the data management system that will be used to support decommissioning activities at the West Valley Demonstration Project.
The mission of the Office of Environmental Management is to complete the safe cleanup of the environmental legacy brought about from five decades of nuclear weapons development and government-sponsored nuclear energy research.
