Cincinnati - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today announced the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS), of Lenoir City, Tennessee. BGS is a small-disadvantaged business under the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Program.

DOE Releases Final Request for Proposal for Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract

Cincinnati -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a Final Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract (LLCC) acquisition. A contract that primarily includes cost-plus-award-fee contract line items for the purpose of continuing the legacy cleanup mission is anticipated.

DOE Awards Cooperative Agreement to Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance

Carlsbad, NM --The Department of Energy’s Carlsbad Field Office today awarded a $1.7 million, five-year cooperative agreement to the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA). The purpose of this agreement is to coordinate and implement activities to train Motor Vehicle Safety Officials and ensure the safe transportation of transuranic waste between generator sites and to the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).

DOE-SR Exercises Option on Management and Operating Contract

The Department of Energy (DOE), Savannah River Operations Office, will exercise an option to extend the term of the current management and operating contract with Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) for an additional 22 months, from Oct. 1, 2016 to July 31, 2018.

DOE Issues Final Request for Proposals for the West Valley Demonstration Project Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement Support Service

Cincinnati – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a Final Request for Proposals (RFP) for the West Valley Demonstration Project Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (WVDP-SEIS) procurement that will provide support to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) in developing a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the WVDP and Western New York Nuclear Service Center.

EM Issues Report Cards to Portsmouth Site Contractors

LEXINGTON, Ky. – EM has completed evaluations and determined final-period award fees for two prime contracts at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant site in south-central Ohio.

EM’s Oak Ridge Cleanup Contractor Earns 93 Percent of Available Fee

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – EM’s cleanup contractor at the Oak Ridge site earned nearly $3.6 million for its performance from Oct. 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016, amounting to 93 percent of the total award fee available.
