May 21, 2014 1:15PM to 2:15PM PDT

Pacific B

The global PV manufacturing landscape has undergone significant changes in the past decade, from geographic and economic changes in the supply chain to a significant increase in PV module production by fewer manufacturers. The lessons learned over the last decade will guide the future of this growing industry. This session will explore the future of PV manufacturing over the next 5 to 10 years, both domestic and abroad. Expert panelists will provide their insights and perspectives across three thematic areas:  a vision of PV manufacturing, including the level of integration and the factory of the future; value-adding attributes of PV products; and the geographic concentration of PV manufacturing.
