Interagency Working Groups

The Federal Energy Management Program works closely with agencies and partner organizations to coordinate interagency working groups. These groups focus on federal energy management and compliance with laws and requirements.

Interagency Energy Management Task Force

The Interagency Energy Management Task Force coordinates federal government activities that encourage energy conservation and energy efficiency.

Federal Utility Partnership Working Group (FUPWG)

FUPWG establishes partnerships and facilitates communications among federal agencies, utilities, and energy service companies.

Interagency Sustainability Working Group (ISWG)

The ISWG serves as a forum for information exchange and promotes agency implementation of goals for high-performance and sustainable buildings.

INTERFUEL Working Group

INTERFUEL implements provisions of the Clean Air Act Amendments and planning for the Energy Policy Act of 1992.
