As part of the Energy Department’s Energy Efficient Mobility Systems activity, Sarah Olexsak manages transportation projects that increase energy efficiency and reduce emissions through the convergence of connectivity, automation, shared mobility, multi-modal urban transport and EV charging infrastructure.

She previously served as DOE's Workplace Charging Challenge Coordinator where she worked to increase workplace charging availability across the country. She also served as Chairman of EERE’s Assistant Management Board and managed the technical component of the $25 billion Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing Loan Program.

Sarah received a M.S. in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. from Muskingum University in New Concord, OH.
