The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled “Transmission and Grid Basics for Tribal Economic and Energy Development," on Wednesday, March 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar is part of the 2016 Tribal Energy and Economic Development series, and is designed to provide tribes with the insight and information needed to make informed, strategic decisions as consumers, providers, and active participants in the new energy economy. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn from tribal energy and power industry experts on topics such as grid fundamentals, transmission markets, interconnection request processes, and transmission planning and operations.
