The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) works to strengthen the United States' energy security, environmental quality, and economic vitality in public-private partnerships. It supports this goal through (1) enhancing energy efficiency and productivity; and (2) bringing clean, reliable and affordable energy technologies to the marketplace.
This area of the EERE website provides direct links to hundreds of pages and documents that collectively demonstrate and explain:
- How EERE and its programs make their plans
- How they implement, control, and adjust these plans, and
- The technological, commercial, and other outputs and outcomes that result from the public funds appropriated to the Office and its programs and managed by them.
