Review of the Implementation Verification Review Processes at the Savannah River Site Environmental Management Nuclear Facilities

This report provides the results of an independent oversight review of the of the Implementation Verification Review (IVR) processes for the Environmental Management nuclear facilities at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site.  The review was conducted during the periods of June 27-July 1, 2011, and July 11-15, 2011, by the Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security.  The overall objective of the review was to verify that the contractors and the operations office have developed and implemented appropriate methods for performing IVRs (including direction for scheduling and conducting IVR activities) and evaluate the adequacy and consistency of IVR process implementation.
